First Day in Africa - Traveling to Tanzania

Fleeing from the first big snows of Colorado, Andrea and I boarded theLufthansa flight in Denver, Colorado and flew overnight to Frankfurt, Germany. After 2 months of traveling and 6 fun-filled weeks with family and friends in the USA, we tipped back airplane bottles of South African red wine and slipped into dreamland. Upon landing in Germany, we faced 8 hours trapped in the transit lounge fueled by nothing but German pretzels.
