Mountain Climbing in Tanzania! Now in Ethiopia!

We have been exploring Tanzania as much as we can and some of our recent adventures include:

A weekend in Bagamoyo – last stop for all the slaves taken from Tanzania long ago.

A weekend on the beach south of Dar es Salaam.

A big road trip with my buddy Lucas Burge who is in the Peace Corps.  We had a crazy time driving through remote parts of central Tanzania and climbing three volcanoes – Mount Hanang, El Doinyo Lengai – the Masaai Holy Mountain, and Mount Meru.  Beautiful peaks and a fun time.

Visiting Ruaha National Parks where we say 18 lions in one day, got attacked in the middle of the night by millions of ants and spotted a rare leopard by the Ruaha River.

There are more and I’m far behind in my coverage.  But, right now we are headed to Ethiopia to check out the northern circuit of historial places – Addis Ababa, Bahir Dar, Gonder, Aksum and Lalibela.  Stay tuned!
